Don’s responsibilities at Statewide include:
∙ Performs daily inspections on petroleum storage and entrances/exits ∙ Performs weekly Ec-1 reports every seven days or after every half inch rainfall event ∙ Monitors rainfall ∙ Samples stormwater after each qualifying event ∙ Creates and maintains accurate project files ∙ Analyzes storm water samples for turbidity limits ∙ Supervises field tech personnel ∙ Coordinates inspection activities with GA DOT personnel ∙ Attends highway construction project status meetings
SKILLS: ∙ Computer skills include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, etc. ∙ General knowledge of highway construction ∙ Asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, underground storage tank removal ∙ Interpretation of GA DOT construction plans and specifications ∙ Provides field directions relating to highway construction ∙ Ability to communicate with GA DOT and contractor personnel
